The WRC programme of the time, although bearing the worlds \"all records available in mono or stereo\" at the top, featured five LPs with an asterisk, which, upon closer reading, leads to the text at the bottom of the next page - \"this record is stereo compatible; i.e. suitable for playing both on stereo equipment and good mono equipment with light-weight pick-up of high compliance. Preferably, however, equipment should be fitted with stereo cartridge and stylus - this enabling playback of all stereo\".\n\nOffered again as an 'ambassador' LP in May 1968, free in return for introducing a new member to the club.
