Tracks 1 to 19 recorded live in Paris by Radio France Inter for Bernard Lenoirs' "Black Sessions" during the "Teenager of the Year" tour '94

Tracks 20 & 21 recorded live and direct to DAT in Frank Black's kitchen, Los Angeles.

Track 22 is not listed on the sleeve and appears to be an unaccompanied performance by Frank Black.

Liner notes:
"This is a recording of a national French radio show called Les Black Sessions presented by Bernard Lenoir. The shows go out live from an extremely air conditioned Paris soundstage. This performance was during a week long run we did in a club called L'Arapahoe... For trivia's sake I should mention that the CD release contains the entire performance as it was heard by the studio audience but not the broadcast's audience, who heard about five songs less because of the length of the radio show... Brian Guthrie at Anoise Annoys had wanted me to include something special for the U.K. release, and I suggested a boot-leg quality extra track or two. My good friend Joey Santiago came by for a cigar and a little jam in my kitchen..."

Track 18 is incorrectly credited to Otis Blackwell instead of track 19; on the sleeve it is credited to Otis Blackwell alone but correctly credited to Blackwell and Jimmy Jones in the recording.
Track 22 is uncredited but was written by Frank Black.
