IKON had been playing 'Ceremony' and 'In a Lonely Place' live on occasion since 2002. 
During the "From Angels to Ashes" sessions in 2003, the two tracks were recorded live in the studio and Chris decided to put them together for a tour CD single for Europe 2003. 
The cover is a tribute to the original [a3909 artwork for 'Ceremony'. 
'Shadowplay' was included as a bonus and was recorded live in Belgium in 2001 (Neerpelt, 4th August).
