Powerplant (UK) A3 Australian Tour Poster, 2025 Brisbane Post-Punk (Variant Two)

Promotional poster for a Brisbane performance by London post-punk and synth-punk group Powerplant. Presented by Blow Blood × Roused Art, the event was held at Blute's Bar, 322 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, Queensland, on Saturday 25 October 2025, with a scheduled 3pm start.

The poster features striking red-and-black DIY artwork incorporating industrial structures, surreal figures, hand-drawn illustrations and underground punk aesthetics reflective of the band's energetic post-punk sound and independent ethos. Support acts advertised include Brisbane performers En Kernaghan Band and Speeding Vehicle, with tickets available through OztixParticularly notable for its production method, the poster was printed on the reverse of recycled cereal box card stock as a cost-saving measure. The blank brown cardboard reverse reflects the resourceful DIY culture of contemporary independent music promotion and makes each surviving example a distinctive artefact of Brisbane's underground music scene.

Produced as part of Powerplant's Australian tour, the poster documents the continuing connection between Brisbane's independent music community and international underground punk and post-punk artists. An example of contemporary Australian music ephemera associated with live performance, DIY promotion and alternative music culture.
